about.

Hi, I'm Konstantin! I am a second-year undergrad in CS at the UCLA School of Engineering. I love all aspects of CS, but I am most experienced in Back-End Engineering and Artificial Intelligence.

I'm currently based in LA, but I grew up all around Europe. Fun fact - because of this, I speak 5 languages: French, Bulgarian, English, German, and Spanish!

In parallel to my studies, I'm working as a Software Developer for the Electron Losses and Fields Investigation (ELFIN) at UCLA, where I am in charge of developing several services to enable tracking of satellite constellations, and controlling our antenna's rotation to maximize signal strength.

I am also starting (soon) to build a high-performance physics and rendering engine in C++ to be able to render physics animations and fluid simulations in real-time. This is the first time I'm tackling a project of this scale, so it will be challenging but it should also be really fun! More news on that coming soon on my blog.

If any of these sound interesting to you and you want to chat about them, feel free to reach out! My contact info is available on (you guessed it) my contact page.

By the way, I don't spend my entire day in front of my laptop (although most of it is spent there...)! In my free time, I enjoy sports (I love tennis and skiing!), exploring California, trying out new food, and traveling across Europe. I also used to play the piano in high school but it's been a while...
